Drama

Explore your dramatic side at Creator's Arts Centre!

 

">Age Groups, Times and Class Content:

 Ages 8- 12  Drama Zone (open)

Using Reader's theatre, story telling, mime and improvisation students will develop acting skills whilst building confidence, making friends and of course having fun. Building on the basic skills of, "Drama Fun" students will gain a better sense of spatial awarness and learn about gestures and create their own sketches in groups.  

Dates: September 15th, 2011 - June 14th, 2012

Teen workshops  - Drama Spotlight (closed)

Young people want to have fun and make new friends.  "Drama Spotlight", enables teens all of that and adds necessary skills for successful and rewarding public presentation through characterization and character interaction.  This course builds self confidence, encourages cooperation and collaboration while freeing the imagination. Come and have fun.

 

Instructor: Delayne Cama Moroka - Delayne has been a Educator and Fine Arts Department head for Heritage Christian Schools for 6 years and currently is the Executive Assistant for BC Online School.  Delayne has produced and directed for “Heritage Theatre”, for several years, working with casts as large as 60 students not including technical crews and staff .  Delayne says " my desire is to disciple and teach young students, igniting the passion that lies within by enriching their lives with theatre".
